Should Runners Add a Vitamin D Supplement to Their Diet in Winter?

Getting sun exposure in the winter months can difficult, especially populations in the north. Athletes who are not getting regular sun exposure should have a plan in place for supplemental Vitamin D or a combination of dietary and supplemental Vitamin D.
