This summer’s training and racing will definitely be a departure from past years; an interruption to our 2020 plans, goals and chasing PR dreams. That said, we’ll all likely have a little more free time to work on our running form and building up our mileage — steady increases to prepare the body and build a strong foundation for future training and competition. While we’re waiting for life to return to some semblance of normal, along with a break from the usual structured training and busy summer race schedules, we can continue to talk and dream about our training & race strategies going forward.
In the meantime, just remember to to give each other more space than usual and make sure to respect the all-important rules of social distancing.
